When you hire our firm, Ryder Law promises that:
Lawrence Ryder was called to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1975. He has provided top quality legal services to thousands of clients for over 40 years. He is a senior litigation lawyer in this area. During his career, Lawrence has successfully championed the rights of small businesses, farmers and individuals against major corporations.
When interest rates being charged by banks rushed past 20% and put all small businesses and individuals at risk of losing everything, it was Lawrence who stood up against the banks and forced them to back off on collection, to write off debt and to allow hundreds of his clients to continue with their businesses and lives.
As a result of his numerous successes, he became known province-wide. He was the keynote speaker in numerous conferences and community meetings. He was interviewed on national radio and television programmes and he wrote numerous articles for a provincial magazine.
He is the lawyer in the Toronto and Port Elgin area who has successfully challenged the banks all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada on two occasions. He has won precedent-setting cases throughout his career.
Lawrence took on the challenge of helping parties injured in automobile accidents who were being mistreated by the legal and insurance systems. Parties injured in an auto accident are entitled to receive reasonable compensation not only from the at-fault driver, but also from the party’s own insurance company, which was supposed to be providing generous accident benefits, but was not.
Today, Lawrence continues to successfully fight against insurance companies and obtain top damage awards for his clients as well as securing statutory accident benefits. He continues to author legal articles for an area magazine.
Lawrence and his team understand the physical and emotional trauma suffered by persons who are injured in automobile accidents and slip and fall incidents. Lawrence is able to access a team of medical experts from all over the province to help his clients in all areas of their need.
Lawrence’s approach is simple. He will listen to you, he will understand your needs and he will strive to provide the best possible legal representation to you in a timely fashion. You deserve no less!
Lawrence is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
